Since the early 1970’s, the Heber Springs Housing Authority of Arkansas has been serving Low and Moderate-income residents by providing them with decent, safe and sanitary housing. Our history as a public housing authority shows that we provide unique services that go well beyond the housing services provided by the private market. We are a Family friendly community that maintains a smoke-free, drug free facility to help ensure the health and safety of our tenants and their neighbors. We have a zero tolerance for Social Security, Disability, and welfare fraud.
The Housing Authority’s objective is to provide decent, safe and sanitary housing.
PUBLIC HOUSING: Residents generally pay rent, which is 30% of their household’s monthly income, adjusted according to HUD regulations, or a required minimum rent. Income levels adjust yearly so contact our office for correct rates.
